The name is absolutely perfect. NoIQ poker indeed. They advertise themselves as the world’s largest poker room. Unfortunately it has a few strings attached. The world’s largest poker room has a majority of players with considerably low Intelligence Quotient. This could be a good and a bad thing. Eventually it turned out that it was not so good for me.
The players are very rich and automatically very reckless and this results in some not so great poker. There is a lot of effort going into the interface and it’s a little too clustered for my liking. The in table interface is very ordinary. The no limits tables are also full of people spending all their money and frankly, I would prefer the pot limit and fixed limit ones.
And this trend follows you in all forms of the game, Hold’em, Omaha, Razz and so on. I can bet you a decent amount that you can simply not see a card for free and even if you hit top pair on the flop, the players behave like two, maybe even three others on a seven player table are holding extremely good draws. I lost my entire three Dollars on the micro stakes poker, although I am glad I didn’t foray into the bigger tables cause I am sure I’d have come out with my wallet a lot lighter than it was when i sat at the table.
But NoIQ does give the 100% deposit bonus of up to €5000 which is highly lucrative. And the July promotion packages builds up to a total of €220,000 which again kept me trying my luck at the games. Overall, this is a place to have fun and not bother about excellent poker skills.
