Strategies of Pineapple Hold’em
There are many versions of poker. Pineapple Hold’em strategy is often known as the Pineapple Poker or plain Pineapple. People in the United Kingdom call it the Irish. This also has many variations, the most popular of which is called the Crazy Pineapple Hold’em. The rules are very similar to that of the most common version Texas Hold’em. Though it is not as well played as Texas Hold’em, the new generation casinos and clubs offer it these days. It has a history dating back to 30 yrs, but surprisingly it is not as popular as its counterpart. The action part is much more in this rather than the Texas Hold’em. Hence a lot of people prefer this nowadays as it offers them a thrilling game, it being inherently racy. This is a direct result of a lot of people entering in to the game and raising the bets. As they say, there is nothing as big a motivation as money. So larger the money at stake, the more fun this game becomes. The only differences in the rules of this game and Texas Hold’em are the following.
1. All the players are given three cards instead of the usual two.
2. One of the cards must be disposed before flopping, to the person who deals it.
Since this is not as popular as the Texas Hold’em, its strategy is not widely studied. This makes it easier to win as even professional poker players do not know how to play it the best. But an intuitive poker player will always win at the end, but the amount of cash he wins will be much higher than he does in normal poker. A high pair which is denoted by Ace-Ace and an ace along with some other card or two high ranked cards and that are related should be kept hands on before the flopping. There are many players in the lot who play the Pineapple Hold’em. So there is a great probability that the best cards would come as soon as the dealing ends. The best hand is drawing at a hand that is the most likely.
The chances in Pineapple Hold’em of getting a pair even before flopping is one in six. The probability that you will end up with the best hand is one in seventy seven. When we compare this to Texas Hold’em, we find the latter has odds of one in seventeen and one in two twenty one respectively. This proves how powerful the opponents and your own hands tend to be, in comparison with the Texas Hold’em. A lot of hands applicable in Texas Hold’em will be severely over matched in this.
This makes it a very exciting and a fun filled game providing opportunities for the beginners to win. Life becomes pretty interesting only if it is filled with risks. There is no other game that can make it truer than Pineapple Hold’em. The fortune inherent in it is so much better than the traditional poker wins. So if you are a person, who loves racy moves, make it a point to play this game.
